Sweden's leading legal media group meets sovereign AI

Founded in 1992, Blendow Group sets the standard for legal intelligence in Sweden, powering the profession with news, analysis, and education. Through its portfolio of leading brands, including Dagens Juridik, Sweden's largest online legal publication, as well as BG Institute, the market leader for legal education and seminars, and Blendow Lexnova, Sweden’s leading legal news provider, the company has delivered daily legal news, expert analyses, commentaries, case summaries, education, and support to decision-makers and legal professionals across Sweden for decades. With its national reach and deep roots in the Swedish legal community, Blendow Group provides Blendow-Noxtua with the curated legal content foundation that Swedish legal professionals rely on.

Sovereignty as a foundation for a pan-European network

Founded in 2017 out of research at Oxford University and Imperial College London, Noxtua builds Europe's Legal AI on European values such as privacy, transparency, and the rule of law. At the infrastructure level, Noxtua partners with European cloud providers to ensure that all user data is processed on certified European servers, independently of US cloud operators. This architecture protects sensitive legal data and ensures the resilience of the AI system. The Blendow-Noxtua solution will accordingly meet the requirements for confidentiality, professional secrecy, and data security.

The GDPR-compliant Legal AI Workspace, which also complies with Swedish professional standards, will support legal professionals with:

  • Legal research using natural language, with access to curated Swedish legal news, analysis, literature, case law, and legislation

  • Analysis of complex problems and large volumes of documents (e.g., matrix analysis and bulk document evaluation)

  • Drafting legal documents, such as contracts, memoranda, submissions, and legal opinions

  • Integrating documents and work processes through connectors

Pan-European expansion of sovereign Legal AI

Noxtua is already collaborating with other leading European legal publishers such as C.H.BECK in Germany, MANZ in Austria, Helbing Lichtenhahn in Switzerland, Wydawnictwo C.H. Beck in Poland, NakladatelstvíC. H. Beck in the Czech Republic, Nakladateľstvo C. H. Beck in Slovakia, and Ciela Norma in Bulgaria to develop localized versions of its Legal AI, based on exclusive local legal data tailored to each jurisdiction. The partnership with Blendow Group adds Sweden to this growing network with a strong focus on European digital sovereignty.

To support its pan-European ambition, Noxtua introduced the first Europe License in February 2026, enabling legal professionals to work across multiple jurisdictions through a single interface. Europe’s sovereign Legal AI will also offer secure access to US legal content by hosting US case law, statutes, and regulations on sovereign European servers.
