Accessibility Statement

LAST UPDATED 28.09.2026

Beck-Noxtua is committed to making the Legal AI Workspace at www.beck-noxtua.de and www.noxtua.com accessible in accordance with the applicable national accessibility legislation (Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz – (BFSG) and Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz-Verordnung (BFSGV)).

Description of the Service

Beck-Noxtua is a Legal AI Workspace for lawyers, tax advisors, auditors, in-house counsel, and the judiciary and public administration. Using a user account, users research legal content, have an AI system trained specifically for legal use cases analyze matters, and generate documents with AI support. The service is accessed via a browser; results are provided in text and document formats, including as PDF or Word files.

Applicable Legal Requirements

The accessibility requirements are outlined in the Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz (BFSG), particularly in Section 14 of the BFSG combined with Section 3(1) of the BFSG, as well as in the underlying Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz-Verordnung (BFSGV). The specific technical measures are based on the harmonized standards, the references to which are published in the Official Journal of the EU (EN 301 549).

Content with Barriers

Noxtua is working hard to ensure that its websites and applications are accessible in terms of perceivability, operability, understandability, and robustness.

The content listed below is not yet accessible:

  • Screen reader users may encounter controls such as buttons, links, selection fields, and input fields that lack clear labels. In addition, some English terms are not marked up as English.

  • The content structure, such as headings, lists, and tables, is not always correctly implemented. As a result, formatting and source citations in the AI assistant's responses are not always understandable or usable for screen reader users.

  • When text is enlarged or displayed in landscape mode, content may be cut off and no longer be reachable. Some text and controls also have insufficient contrast.

  • Keyboard users cannot fully operate certain dialogs and formatting functions. Additionally, after closing menus and dialogs, the keyboard focus sometimes jumps to an unexpected location.

  • The continuous display of AI responses (“streaming”) cannot be turned off. Furthermore, status messages, for example, when loading, copying, or creating a response, are not always announced to screen reader users.

The accessibility of the Legal AI Workspace was reviewed by our external service provider, SVA System Vertrieb Alexander GmbH, in accordance with the requirements of EN 301 549. The most recent assessment of the “Templates,” “Template Creation,” and “Matrix Tool” sections took place on July 16, 2026 (2026.29). The “Login,” “Menu,” “Chat,” and “Editor” sections were last assessed on September 28, 2026 (2026.35).
