Editor

Create, edit, and export legal documents in a flexible workspace with AI assistance.

What is the Editor?

The Editor is a workspace in Noxtua that lets you draft and edit legal documents quickly. It is especially helpful for exploring initial ideas, organizing unstructured information, or creating new documents based on reference materials. All text changes are transparently documented, so you maintain full control over your document.

The main capabilities

  • Text editing and AI assistance – edit text directly with manual adjustments, or highlight a section and have Noxtua modify it or research additional legal context

  • Suggested changes and change tracking – accept or reject each improvement suggestion, with all changes transparently tracked

  • Chat integration – ask questions in the chat while you work, to have clauses explained, request a different structure, or research more

  • Export functions – export the finished document to Word as a .docx file, including all source references

How to use the Editor

You work with the Editor in the right window and the chat in the left. Noxtua provides a first draft, which you refine step by step: rewrite passages yourself, highlight sections for Noxtua to revise, or use the chat to research and restructure.

From research to memorandum

  1. Ask your legal question in the chat and have Noxtua conduct research.

  2. Open the Editor via the "Editor" button below the chat field, then instruct Noxtua to create a structured memorandum from your research.

  3. Refine the draft: rewrite passages yourself, highlight sections for Noxtua to revise, or use the chat to research and adjust the structure.

  4. Once the content is complete, export the memorandum to Word as a .docx file, including all source references.
