BERLIN/WARSAW 03. December 2025 – Legal tech company Noxtua is expanding its AI initiative to the Polish market in cooperation with leading legal publisher Wydawnictwo C.H.Beck. The aim is to provide legal professionals, institutions, and companies in Poland with a sophisticated, powerful, and locally developed AI solution that integrates specialist legal information directly into their everyday work. The Legal AI Workspaces, which Noxtua is developing in cooperation with leading European specialist publishers, cover the core areas of legal work – from information gathering (research) and analysis of complex issues (understanding) to document creation (drafting).

Europe's sovereign Legal AI is thus being adapted for the Polish legal market on the basis of exclusive local data, following the recent launch in Germany of the legally compliant and competent Legal AI Workspace Beck-Noxtua. Additionally, The AI company is currently developing further localized versions of the Legal AI in cooperation with the legal publishers MANZ in Austria (MANZ-Noxtua) and Helbing Lichtenhahn in Switzerland (Swiss-Noxtua).

Legal excellence meets AI technology

With several million documents, Wydawnictwo C.H.Beck has with its Legalis system one of the most comprehensive legal databases in the country and has been a key player in the Polish legal system ever since it was founded in 1993. In partnership with Noxtua, the publisher is contributing its expertise and content to jointly develop an AI solution tailored to the specifics of the Polish legal system. Noxtua trains the AI with curated data and in close collaboration with leading Polish law firms to ensure quality and legal consistency.

Founded in 2017 from research at Oxford University and Imperial College London, Noxtua combines powerful AI with European values such as privacy, transparency, and the rule of law. Its collaborations with publishers in Europe pursue a clear European vision: digital sovereignty through cooperation rather than isolated solutions. To this end, the AI company is building a legally compliant and specialized AI system consisting of its own AI infrastructure, models trained on exclusive data, and an interface tailored to the needs of legal professionals.

Legal AI Workspace with a multi-level AI system

The user-centered interface of Beck-Noxtua in Poland will support legal professionals in:

  • Legal research in natural language with access to Polish specialist literature, case law, and legal texts

  • Analysis of complex issues and documents

  • Creation of legal texts such as briefs, contracts, and memos

  • Integration of their own documents and workflows

  • GDPR-compliant processing and compliance with professional standards

The Legal AI meets the high requirements for confidentiality, professional secrecy, and data security and also complies with the guidelines for the practice of law in Poland.

Building on this functionality, Beck-Noxtua in Poland also delivers key advantages that distinguish it as a complete, sovereign and specialized AI system:
