Launch of Beck-Noxtua

The Legal AI Workspace is now officially available

  • Beck-Noxtua combines content from Germany's leading legal publisher with Europe's sovereign Legal AI

  • Legal AI Workspace enables research, analysis, and document creation in end-to-end agentic workflows

  • Legally competent and compliant AI on secure German infrastructure

MUNICH/BERLIN, November 26, 2025 – Germany's leading legal publisher C.H.BECK and AI company Noxtua are launching Beck-Noxtua today. The Legal AI Workspace exclusively combines the content of beck-online, the most comprehensive legal database in the German-speaking world, with Noxtua's AI system specially tailored to the legal sector. Beck-Noxtua meets the high professional, criminal, and data protection requirements for lawyers (GDPR, Section 203 of the German Criminal Code, Section 43e of the German Federal Code for Lawyers), processes all data entered via secure data centers operated by German partners IONOS and Open Telekom Cloud, and thus preserves digital sovereignty in the legal system.

Powerful AI made in Germany

"With the official launch of Beck-Noxtua, we are demonstrating, in partnership with C.H.Beck, how centuries-old publishing tradition can be combined with modern AI technology. At the same time, this illustrates that digital European sovereignty with control over the infrastructure is not an optional extra, but can be the basis for a successful AI solution. This is powerful AI made in Germany," emphasizes Dr. Leif-Nissen Lundbæk (CEO and co-founder of Noxtua).

"With Beck-Noxtua, we are creating a legal workplace that reliably and efficiently supports legal decisions. The combination of high-quality legal content, an application specifically tailored to legal needs, and a focus on high security standards and sovereignty sends a strong signal to law firms, legal departments, administration, and the judiciary. This also underscores our commitment to an independent legal system," explains Dr. Roland Klaes (member of the management board of the C.H.BECK publishing house).

Agent-based workflows for research, analysis, and document creation

The Legal AI Workspace covers the three core areas of legal text work with research, analysis, and document creation and can be used for recurring standard tasks as well as highly complex work processes. Beck-Noxtua works with agentic workflows and transparently discloses the individual “thought processes” and work steps so that users can comprehensively review both the process and the result. The basis for this is always the research of legal sources, which the AI carries out independently and in a targeted manner and on the basis of which Beck-Noxtua can additionally analyze and create legal documents, including displayed references. Users can compare several documents simultaneously with additional functionalities such as matrix analysis, create new documents in parallel with further analyzes in canvas mode, or create their own templates for recurring tasks. This flexibility combined with specialization makes Beck-Noxtua suitable for legal workflows in law firms, legal departments, the public sector, and the judiciary.
