Berlin, May 15, 2025 – The legally competent legal Large Language Model of Europe’s sovereign Legal AI Noxtua will be integrated into the legal no-code solution LAWLIFT. LAWLIFT customers from law firms and legal departments can now automatically create legal documents such as contracts.

Founded in 2015, LAWLIFT is one of the leading German providers of no-code solutions for legal document automation. With their strong focus on user-friendliness, they have fundamentally simplified the process of template automation. The use of AI technology is an integral part of this approach. The AI company Noxtua develops Europe's sovereign Legal AI as a complete, legally compliant and legally competent AI system.

Lawyers can use the Noxtua interface that is based on proprietary AI models trained with excusive legal data for document drafting, review, and legal research. LAWLIFT users can now access the Noxtua Legal Large Language Model (LLM) and use this language model, specialized in legal terminology, to automatically generate legal document templates within moments. They can also create questions (or question catalogs) and suggest answers, rephrase text passages, add context, or generate explanatory notes and comments. Additional features will follow.

Strength through specialized AI and reliable automation

“With Europe's sovereign Legal AI Noxtua, we are demonstrating that powerful AI can be developed based on European values such as transparency, data protection and the rule of law. The legal sector in particular impressively demonstrates how specialized AI can support experts in their daily work in a powerful and meaningful way. The integration of the Noxtua LLM into Lawlift is also a combination of specialized AI and reliable automation that simplifies the daily work of lawyers,” emphasizes Dr. Leif-Nissen Lundbæk, CEO & Co-Founder of Noxtua.

“With the integration of the Noxtua LLM, we’re taking AI templating – and legal document automation itself – to a new level. Our clients can rely on smart assistance in template creation while retaining full control over structure and content. That’s the strength of our platform: efficiency, reusability, and legally sound results,” says Dr. Steffen Bunnenberg, CEO & Co-Founder of LAWLIFT

Born out of research at Oxford University and Imperial College London, the AI company formerly known as Xayn was founded in 2017 in Berlin and first launched Europe’s sovereign Legal AI in 2024 in close collaboration with the international law firm CMS which provided the initial legal training data. Noxtua just recently raised € 80.7 million in their Series B investment round with C.H.Beck, Germany’s leading legal publisher, as the leading investor, High-Performance Computing (HPC) specialist NorthernData, Germany’s largest business law firm CMS as Xayn's long-standing partner and co-initiator of the Legal AI Noxtua, as well as global law firm Dentons.
