Noxtua wins legal tech expert


Legal expert and software developer Johannes Maurer joins Europe's sovereign Legal AI company

BERLIN, September 17, 2025 – AI company Noxtua, developer of Europe's sovereign Legal AI, wins the German legal tech expert Johannes Maurer.   

Johannes Maurer is coming from Aleph Alpha to AI scaleup Noxtua as Director of Legal Solutions & Workflows. The lawyer and software developer was most recently Solutions Principal Legal & Compliance at the Heidelberg-based AI startup and was previously part of the management team at legal tech provider BRYTER. He founded the legal research platform gesetze.io and worked as a lawyer at the international law firm Hogan Lovells, where he was also a member of their legal tech task force. In his newly created position at Europe's leading Legal AI company, the experienced legal tech specialist's responsibilities include developing AI-based, customer-oriented solutions for the legal sector.
